Copper clad steel conductors are fine for RF applications like antennas, cable television and satellite installations, but may result in poor quality composite video signals. This Impact Acoustics coax cable is designed specifically for installations where you intend to run composite video, RGBHV video, component video and even surveillance systems! This cable has 18 AWG bare copper center conductor surrounded by a foam polyethylene dielectric, 95% tinned copper braid and PVC jacket. For CL1, CL2, CM, CMX and CMG installations. Sweep-tested to 3GHz to ensure performance. To help you keep track of cable used, the cable jacket is sequentially marked every two feet.
